We draw your attention to the fact that mandatory insurance has been introduced in Qatar for all visitors to the country, the rule came into effect on February 1, 2023.
Insurance is mandatory, without it you may not be allowed to enter the city. The cost of insurance is 50 Qatari riyals (approximately $14)

The Ministry of Tourism is working to make it possible to enter the country with international insurance. We will send additional information as soon as it becomes available.
We draw your attention to the fact that insurance must be issued BEFORE entering the country, as there were cases when they were not allowed to board the flight to Doha without it.
Insurance can be bought online (see links below) or upon arrival at Hamad International Airport. We recommend that the insurance if pre-purchased to avoid any delays on arrival into Qatar.
